The wine region of Atlàntida is located in the region of Coastal Region of Uruguay. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Vientos or the Domaine Vientos produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Atlàntida are Tannat, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Atlàntida often reveals types of flavors of tree fruit, citrus fruit or non oak and sometimes also flavors of earth, microbio or vegetal.
In the mouth of Atlàntida is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Atlàntida, producing 14 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Atlàntida go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).

Global demand for New Zealand wine saw exports rise by 9% to NZ$599m (£315m) in the first quarter of the new export year, to the end of September 2021, according to the latest data from New Zealand Winegrowers (NZW).
