Elite wine village of central Valais (east of Sion, mica schist, steep Rhône slopes). Fendant reigns in white: lively, intense citrus, white flowers and a racy mineral-saline touch, alpine freshness. Rare native Petite Arvine, Humagne Blanche, Heida and Amigne offer complex profiles (grapefruit, honey, rhubarb). Fine Pinot Noir in red.
