The wine region of Nuy is located in the region of Worcester of Western Cape of South Africa. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Leipzig or the Domaine Conradie Family Vineyards produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Nuy are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Nuy often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of spices, black fruit or microbio.
In the mouth of Nuy is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Nuy, producing 17 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Nuy go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
