The wine region of Cávado is located in the region of Vinho Verde of Minho of Portugal. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Quinta de Pacos or the Domaine Galo Lusitano produce mainly wines white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Cávado are Loureiro, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. In the mouth of Cávado is a powerful with a nice freshness.
