The wine region of Casteggio is located in the region of Lombardie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Prime Alture or the Domaine Prime Alture produce mainly wines red, sparkling and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Casteggio are Merlot, Pinot noir and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Casteggio often reveals types of flavors of earth, black fruit or tree fruit.
