The wine region of Circeo is located in the region of Latium of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Cantina Sant'Andrea or the Domaine Cantina Sant'Andrea produce mainly wines white, red and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Circeo are Merlot, Chardonnay and Sangiovese, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Circeo often reveals types of flavors of earth, oak or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, tree fruit or tropical fruit.
In the mouth of Circeo is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Circeo, producing 14 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Circeo go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pasta or veal.
