The wine region of Taurasi is located in the region of Campanie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Quintodecimo or the Domaine Quintodecimo produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Taurasi are Aglianico, Tempranillo and Nebbiolo, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Taurasi often reveals types of flavors of tobacco, cedar or black olive and sometimes also flavors of balsamic, black plum or citrus fruit.
In the mouth of Taurasi is a powerful with a lot of tannins present in the mouth. We currently count 160 estates and châteaux in the of Taurasi, producing 232 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Taurasi go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pasta or lamb.
