The wine region of Colline Teatine is located in the region of Abruzzes of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Masciarelli or the Domaine Caldora produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Colline Teatine are Pecorino, Chardonnay and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Colline Teatine often reveals types of flavors of black fruit, non oak or earth and sometimes also flavors of microbio, vegetal or oak.
In the mouth of Colline Teatine is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 17 estates and châteaux in the of Colline Teatine, producing 33 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Colline Teatine go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, vegetarian or appetizers and snacks.
The liqueur – famed for its use in making Crêpes Suzettes, but also a classic cocktail ingredient – has created a new Exceptional Range, beginning with the launch of Grand Marnier Quintessence. Following the recent invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Decanter World Wine Awards will be cancelling the entries for any Russian wineries which have entered the competition, and their wines will not be judged.
