Discovering the wine region of Sahyadri

The wine region of Sahyadri is located in the region of Pune of India. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Deccan Plateau or the Domaine Indage produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Sahyadri are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chenin blanc and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Sahyadri, producing 4 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
