The wine region of Gerania is located in the region of Attiki of Continental Greece of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Evharis or the Domaine Evharis produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Gerania are Assyrtiko, Merlot and Agiorgitiko, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Gerania often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of spices, black fruit or red fruit.
In the mouth of Gerania is a powerful with a good balance between acidity and sweetness. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Gerania, producing 20 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Gerania go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
