The wine region of Mâcon-Villages is located in the region of Mâcon of Burgundy of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine J. M. Boillot or the Domaine Guillemot-Michel produce mainly wines white, red and sweet.
The most planted grape varieties in the region of Mâcon-Villages are Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Gamay noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Mâcon-Villages often reveals types of flavors of pineapple, lemon curd or yeast and sometimes also flavors of mango, saline or orange. In the mouth of Mâcon-Villages is a powerful.
