Discovering the wine region of Commandaria

The wine region of Commandaria is located in the region of Lemesos of Cyprus. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Loel or the Domaine Etko - Olympus Wineries produce mainly wines red, sweet and natural sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Commandaria are Chardonnay, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. Cambridge University study suggests smaller glasses can reduce overall wine consumption

The researchers conducted a crossover trial featuring 217 UK households that drink wine on a regular basis. They were randomly given 290ml or 350ml glasses to drink from during the four-week study period.
