The wine region of Niagara Lakeshore is located in the region of Niagara-on-the-Lake of Ontario of Canada. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Nomad at Hinterbrook or the Domaine Icellars produce mainly wines white, red and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Niagara Lakeshore are Riesling, Merlot and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Niagara Lakeshore often reveals types of flavors of oaky, raspberry or microbio and sometimes also flavors of oak, red fruit or earth.
In the mouth of Niagara Lakeshore is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 18 estates and châteaux in the of Niagara Lakeshore, producing 65 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Niagara Lakeshore go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pork or game (deer, venison).
