Campanian IGT south of Naples on the hills of the province of Salerno (Cilento setting), varied soils and sunny Mediterranean climate. Aglianico is the signature red: dense and deep with black cherry, blackberry, plum, leather, tobacco and a balsamic note, firm ageing tannins — the mythical figure of Montevetrano.
