Vibrant and fresh rosés and clairets with a pale robe and tender mouth, featuring aromas of white flowers, citrus, fennel and delicate anise notes. Moderate acidity, light finish. A pink-skinned mutation of clairette blanche, occasionally blended into Provençal and Languedoc rosés. Clairette blanche signs Clairette de Die, Clairette du Languedoc AOC and enters Châteauneuf-du-Pape whites. Native southern French grape.

The wine region of Coteaux de Tlemcen

Algerian altitude AOG (Tlemcen, 700–800 m, 150 km from Oran), cool and dry climate on silty sands and Helvetian calcareous marls. Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Alicante Bouschet — elegant and refined reds with lively notes of cherry, raspberry, red fruits and a fresh-spiced mountain touch, fine tannins and brilliant fruit. Manual harvesting and moderate maceration preserving freshness. North-African mountain wine tradition, Andalusian-Maghrebi refinement.

The word of the wine: Burgundy melon

A white grape variety from Burgundy that is not widely used in its native region, but has spread to the Nantes region. It is the exclusive variety of Muscadet. It gives a dry pale yellow wine, supple and lively, with an intense bouquet, to which maturing on lees gives fatness and aromatic complexity.
