Intensely coloured reds with a red dyeing pulp, a deep purple robe, supple tannins and an ample palate with moderate acidity, featuring aromas of red fruits, black fruits and southern notes. Grown in southern Italy (Puglia, Calabria, Sardinia), Portugal and Spain, used to deepen the colour of blends and produce approachable reds. Vast inland Croatia (Kontinentalna Hrvatska) from Karlovac to Vukovar via Zagreb, continental climate distinct from the Mediterranean coast. Signature Graševina (Welschriesling) as white king: lively and fruity with notes of green apple, pear, citrus, white flowers, sweet almond and a mineral touch, taut and thirst-quenching palate — the inland soul (two-thirds whites).
