Emblematic PDO of Kakheti (right bank of the Alazani, Gurjaani, 250–600 m). Legendary fortified dessert white: Rkatsiteli dominant, with Khikhvi and Kakhuri Mtsvane as signatures — dense amber and opulent with intense aromas of honey, candied fruit, dried apricot, walnut and an oxidative-balsamic edge, long ageing. Historic cuvées exported in the 19th century for their richness and balance. Traditional Qvevri macerations.
