Discover the grape variety: Incrocio Manzoni

Structured, aromatic dry whites with a pale golden colour, a full palate and preserved acidity, showing signature aromas of white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach), white flowers (acacia), citrus and mineral notes typical of Riesling. Good ageing potential. Grown in Veneto and Friuli, it produces distinctive Italian wines and contributes to structured whites of the north-east. Family of Italian varieties obtained by Luigi Manzoni at Conegliano (best known: 6.0.13 Riesling × Pinot Blanc).

The wine region of Margaux

Most feminine Médoc appellation (Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux): Cabernet Sauvignon signature as the red king — elegant and refined with notes of cassis, blackberry, cedar, violet, graphite and a spicy touch, fine silky signature tannins, dazzling floral bouquet and aristocratic finish. Merlot and Petit Verdot complete the blend. AOC (1954), ~1,413 ha across 5 communes, 21 Crus Classés 1855 including Premier Cru Château Margaux, the stoniest Quaternary gravels in the Médoc.

The wine region of Bordeaux

World-renowned age-worthy reds, led by round Merlot (plum, black fruit) or firm Cabernet Sauvignon (blackcurrant, cedar, graphite), blended with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for tannic structure. Structured Médoc and Graves, velvety Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. Also crisp dry whites (Sauvignon/Sémillon) and opulent sweet Sauternes with honey and candied fruit. A 110,000 ha Gironde vineyard, 65 appellations, cradle of the 1855 classified growths.

The word of the wine: Farm

Wine dominated by a strong acidity and/or biting tannins. In this case, the components of the wine need to melt, i.e. to harmonize during the maturation in the cellar.
