The wine region of Luberon

The wine region of Luberon is located in the region of Rhône méridional of Rhone Valley of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Marrenon or the Maison Williams Chase produce mainly wines red, pink and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Luberon are Mourvèdre, Vermentino and Clairette, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. A total of £72,600 was raised from 79 lots at the sixteenth DWWA wine auction hosted by Christie’s on 2 December – beating a record set in 2018. This total excludes Christie’s buyer’s premium.
