The wine region of Rethymnon is located in the region of Crete of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Malihin Chryssos or the Domaine Klados produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Rethymnon are Vidiano, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Rethymnon often reveals types of flavors of earth, tree fruit or non oak and sometimes also flavors of oak, spices or microbio.
