Whites with many faces: mineral and taut at Chablis (lemon, green apple, flint), opulent and buttery at Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet (hazelnut, brioche, yellow fruits), tense and chalky in Champagne (Blanc de Blancs). Also vinified sparkling and widely exported (Sonoma, Margaret River, Casablanca). A Burgundian variety, a cross of Pinot Noir × Gouais Blanc, half-sibling of Aligoté.
Preserved vineyard of south-east Albania (wild Vjosa valley, 300-600 m, "City of Roses"), millennia of Illyrian heritage. Native Debinë e Bardhë and Debina as signature whites: vivid, delicate, with intense white flowers, honey, white fruits, citrus and a refined mineral-saline note, remarkable authentic freshness. Serinë as a light white with floral and honeyed aromas. Local red varieties yield fruity reds.
