Velvety, deep reds with a dark robe and round tannins, showing aromas of blackberry, plum, ripe red pepper, dark chocolate, coffee and gentle spice. Warm, supple finish. A historic Bordeaux variety that nearly vanished after phylloxera, a cross of Cabernet Franc × Gros Cabernet.
