Good length and ageing potential. Absolute star of Roussette de Savoie AOC (especially crus Frangy, Marestel, Monthoux) and Roussette du Bugey AOC. Autochthonous Savoyard variety; legend has it that it was brought from Cyprus by Crusaders in the 14th century.
