The wine region of Marmara of Turkey. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Porta Caeli or the Domaine Porta Caeli produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Marmara are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. Vanilla was ranked as the most pleasant smell in a study involving 235 people and conducted by an international network of researchers, including those from the University of Oxford and the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
