Calabria is a wine region in southern Italy, in fact a large peninsula that juts out between the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is separated from Sicily by the narrow Strait of Messina. Bordeaux wine sales to the US reached a new record in 2021, jumping 67% to €349m ($390m), the Bordeaux wine council (CIVB) announced this week.
