The wine region of Okanogan County is located in the region of Washington of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Joie Farm or the Domaine Quinta Ferreira produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Okanogan County are Pinot noir, Merlot and Pinotage, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Okanogan County often reveals types of flavors of citrus, tree fruit or spices and sometimes also flavors of non oak, tropical fruit or vegetal.
We currently count 10 estates and châteaux in the of Okanogan County, producing 12 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Okanogan County go well with generally quite well with dishes of rich fish (salmon, tuna etc), shellfish or beef.
