The wine region of Southwest Region is located in the region of Virginia of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Gurson or the Domaine Valhalla Wines produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Southwest Region are Marsanne, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Southwest Region, producing 3 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
The wines of Southwest Region go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork or shellfish.
