The wine region of San Lucas is located in the region of Monterey County of California of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Ghost Hull or the Domaine Made by James produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of San Lucas are Cabernet-Sauvignon et Malbec, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of San Lucas often reveals types of flavors of oak, spices or earth and sometimes also flavors of tree fruit, citrus fruit or black fruit.
In the mouth of San Lucas is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of San Lucas, producing 5 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of San Lucas go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
