Southern Ukrainian region on the Black Sea and lower Dnieper, ~20,000 ha of vines under a mixed continental-maritime climate. Saperavi and Cabernet Sauvignon are signature reds — structured with dark fruit, plum, cherry and spice, firm tannins. Odesa Black is a native deep red. Sukholymanske, Telti-Kuruk and Rkatsiteli are fresh native whites; Aligoté, Chardonnay and Riesling complete.
