The wine region of Epesses is located in the region of Lavaux of Vaud of Switzerland. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Louis Bovard or the Domaine Blaise Duboux produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Epesses are Chasselas, Pinot noir and Gamay noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Epesses often reveals types of flavors of citrus, stone or cheese and sometimes also flavors of honey, earth or microbio.
In the mouth of Epesses is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 58 estates and châteaux in the of Epesses, producing 144 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Epesses go well with generally quite well with dishes of rich fish (salmon, tuna etc), shellfish or vegetarian.
The launch of the 2022 Collection takes the total number of Last Drop releases to 27 since the company was founded by drinks industry veterans Tom Jago and James Espey in 2008. Tom’s daughter Rebecca Jago is now the company’s MD.
