The wine region of Rioja Baja is located in the region of Rioja of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Domènech. Vidal or the Domaine De Alto Amo produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Rioja Baja are Tempranillo, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Rioja Baja, producing 2 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Rioja Baja go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or veal.
