The wine region of Norte de Granada is located in the region of Andalousie of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Vilaplana or the Domaine Nestares Rincon produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Norte de Granada are Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Norte de Granada often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of spices, red fruit or black fruit.
In the mouth of Norte de Granada is a powerful with a lot of tannins present in the mouth. We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Norte de Granada, producing 5 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Norte de Granada go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or veal.
