The wine region of Simonsberg-Stellenbosch is located in the region of Stellenbosch of Western Cape of South Africa. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Delheim or the Domaine Remhoogte produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Simonsberg-Stellenbosch are Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Pinotage, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Simonsberg-Stellenbosch often reveals types of flavors of black fruit, non oak or earth and sometimes also flavors of oak, red fruit or microbio.
