The wine region of Central Orange River is located in the region of Northern Cape of South Africa. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lowerland or the Domaine Lowerland produce mainly wines red, sweet and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Central Orange River are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Colombard and Petit Verdot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Central Orange River often reveals types of flavors of earth, oak or spices and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, black fruit or tropical fruit.
