The wine region of Biscoitos is located in the region of Açores of Portugal. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Anselmo Mendes or the Domaine Anselmo Mendes produce mainly wines white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Biscoitos are Verdelho, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Biscoitos often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of vegetal, oak or tree fruit.

We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Biscoitos, producing 5 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
