The wine region of Lake Skadar Valley is located in the region of Podgorica of Montenegro. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Monte Grande or the Domaine Monte Grande produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Lake Skadar Valley are Chardonnay et Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. We currently count 1 estates and châteaux in the of Lake Skadar Valley, producing 5 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
The wines of Lake Skadar Valley go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or vegetarian.
