Discovering the wine region of Yamagata-Ken

The wine region of of Japan. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Hamada or the Domaine Hamada produce mainly wines white and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of are Chardonnay, Merlot and Koshu, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of , producing 6 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
