Discovering the wine region of Yamagata-Ken

The wine region of of Japan. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Hamada or the Domaine Hamada produce mainly wines white and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of are Chardonnay, Merlot and Koshu, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. Château Lafon-Rochet appoints Christophe Congé as MD

Having joined Domaine Barons de Rothschild in 1999, Congé has since held the role of oenologist and wine operations manager across Château Lafite Rothschild and Château Duhart Milon for over 22 years.
