The wine region of Valtenesi is located in the region of Lombardie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Pasini San Giovanni or the Domaine Cà Maiol produce mainly wines pink, red and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Valtenesi are Sangiovese et Marzemino, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Valtenesi often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of vegetal, red fruit or tropical fruit.
In the mouth of Valtenesi is a powerful. We currently count 20 estates and châteaux in the of Valtenesi, producing 44 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Valtenesi go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
