The wine region of Cilento is located in the region of Campanie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Luigi Maffini or the Domaine Luigi Maffini produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Cilento are Aglianico, Sangiovese and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Cilento often reveals types of flavors of smoke, spices or floral and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, tree fruit or vegetal.
In the mouth of Cilento is a powerful. We currently count 16 estates and châteaux in the of Cilento, producing 43 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
