Discovering the wine region of Paros
The wine region of Paros is located in the region of Cyclades of Paros of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Moraitico or the Domaine Moraitis produce mainly wines red, white and pink. On the nose of Paros often reveals types of flavors of pineapple, microbio or dried fruit and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, pink grapefruit or melon. Drought emergency declared in northern Italy
Severe drought in northern Italy has led to the country’s government declaring a state of emergency in several regions, including Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont and Veneto. Australian wine exports fall as China tariffs bite
Australian wine exports dropped by 19% to A$2.08bn in the year to 30 June, said trade body Wine Australia this week. While exports to some countries rose, notably the US, the group’s report for the 2021-22 financial year offered fresh insight into a slide in shipments to China.
