The wine region of Kallstadt is located in the region of Pfalz of Germany. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Am Nil or the Domaine Am Nil produce mainly wines white, pink and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Kallstadt are Riesling, Pinot noir and Gewurztraminer, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Kallstadt often reveals types of flavors of earth, tree fruit or citrus fruit and sometimes also flavors of non oak, microbio or vegetal.
In the mouth of Kallstadt is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Kallstadt, producing 20 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Kallstadt go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, shellfish or spicy food.
