The wine region of Golden Mile is located in the region of Okanagan Valley of British Columbia of Canada. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Fairview Cellars or the Domaine Hester Creek produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Golden Mile are Merlot, Cabernet franc and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Golden Mile often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of oak, tree fruit or spices.
In the mouth of Golden Mile is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 11 estates and châteaux in the of Golden Mile, producing 44 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Golden Mile go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.

The researchers conducted a crossover trial featuring 217 UK households that drink wine on a regular basis. They were randomly given 290ml or 350ml glasses to drink from during the four-week study period. Researchers noted that wine consumption fell by 6.5% when those featured in the study were drinking from the smaller glasses. The trial also focused on bottle sizes. Producers including Rathfinny, Ridgeview and Bolney embarked upon their quest to turn Sussex into an appellation back in 2015. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has now finally recognised Sussex wine as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
