The wine region of Anjou-Villages is located in the region of Anjou of Loire Valley of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Sauveroy or the Domaine Clos de l'Élu produce mainly wines red and white. Its large bunches give fine, light and lively wines, suitable for distillation: today it is the main variety for making cognac and armagnac.
