Fresh, aromatic dry whites with a pale golden colour, supple palate and lively acidity, showing signature aromas of citrus (lemon), white-fleshed fruits (apple, pear), white flowers and Atlantic mineral notes. Thirst-quenching Iberian north-west profile. Contributes to the white DO Valdeorras and Monterrei wines in Galicia, and to northern Portugal under the names síria or roupeiro. DAC Schilcherland in western Austrian Styria (350-550 m, gneiss and slate soils): indigenous Blauer Wildbacher signature exclusive rose (~406 ha) under the name Schilcher — pale crimson rose, vibrant acidity and exceptional freshness, playful aromas of red berries (cherry, redcurrant), herbaceous notes of nettle, thyme and rosemary, rustic and nervous expression. Vinified still and frizzante, sometimes also as a dry aperitif, unique signature in Europe.
