A very old variety of table grape. It is believed to be a cross between the khourmany kizil or ichkimar and the sultana. The wine region of Fronton is located in the region of Haut-Pays of South West of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Château Bellevue La Forét or the Château Baudare produce mainly wines red, pink and white.
