The wine region of Kissamos is located in the region of Chania of Crete of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Pnevmatikakis or the Domaine Pnevmatikakis produce mainly wines pink and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Kissamos are Assyrtiko, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Kissamos often reveals types of flavors of red fruit.
We currently count 1 estates and châteaux in the of Kissamos, producing 4 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Kissamos go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, mature and hard cheese or vegetarian.
