The wine region of Gers is located in the region of Comté Tolosan of Vin de Pays of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine de Gensac or the Domaine Francois Dulac produce mainly wines white, red and pink. Frescobaldi’s Gorgona: A day on the prison island
The small island of Gorgona, just off the coast of Livorno, isn’t your run-of-the-mill viticultural area – its main purpose is to serve as a penal colony.
