The wine region of Lessona is located in the region of Piémont of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Proprieta Sperino or the Domaine Pietro Cassina produce mainly wines red and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Lessona are Nebbiolo, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Lessona often reveals types of flavors of cherry, balsamic or prune and sometimes also flavors of cinnamon, non oak or earth.
In the mouth of Lessona is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.
